Signatone manufactures four point heads for resistivity measurement applications. The SP4 Four Point Probe Head is made from mold-injected Delrin and is designed for use at room temperatures.

The HT4 model is machined from Macor, a ceramic like material, and will withstand temperatures up to 400°C. The two heads are available with a variety of probe tip spacings, spring pressures, materials and tip diameters. The four tips are in a straight line configuration, however, square pattern probe heads are available on special order.

Signatone provides two series of four point probe heads for users to choose from; SP4 series and HT4 series：

◢The SP4 series four point probe is a kind of four point probe used in most applications. 

  It is composed of plastic steel probes arranged in a straight line.

  SP4 series four point probes offer the following options to suit a variety of applications

  ■    probe spacing: 0.040, 0.050, 0.0625 inches ■ Probe pressure: 45g, 85g, 180g

  ■    probe material: tungsten carbide, osmium ■  probe radius: 0.0016, 0.005, 0.010  inches

◢The surface of HT4 series four point probe is similar to SP4 series four point probe, but HT4 series four point 

  probe  is made of ceramic

   ■  Suitable for high temperature and high resistance measurement, HT4 series four point probe can work up to 650 ℃

   ■  High temperature resistant coaxial wiring design of HT4 series four point probe makes it possible to measure 

       resistance up to 10G

   ■  probe spacing: 0.050, 0.0625 inches         ■ Probe pressure：180g

   ■  probe material: tungsten carbide, osmium ■ probe radius: 0.0016, 0.005, 0.010  inches
